I first met Jon Driver in 2005 when I wanted to do a PhD at the ICN. We talked about my background and about my reasons for wanting to do research. I have always been extremely grateful to Jon for having decided that I could do a PhD and having introduced me to Brad Duchaine so that I could work with him. Jon then became my second PhD supervisor. In our meetings, I was always so impressed how Jon could so rapidly figure out what was wrong about my experiments, make very incisive comments, and offer precious suggestions about what I should do. Working with Jon made me always want to do my best.
I truly admired Jon Driver for his brilliance and I will always be tremendously thankful for his generosity.
