1 December 2011

from Lorenzo Pia

My story starts on the morning of 7 July 2005.
I was late but I wanted a second coffee.........That's why I skimmed over the Tavistock Square bomb.
1 hour after I met Jon at the ICN.
I told him a long shocking story.
In the silence, He slapped me on the shoulder and started to smile with the eyes.
It lasted 30 seconds, enough to create a thin but very sharp affective ties.....the one I kept inside me so far.

I remember the 2006 Attention and Perfomance Meeting.
He brought to me his gift for my wedding, it was a mignon of a scottish wisky.....clearly a duty free one!
He saw me running and screaming around vineyards when we (Italy) went into the final of the 2006 world cup, He told me I was excessive........I'm sure He was Jealous!
