I have met John Driver once at Queen Square, in 2001, and spent few hours with him discussing his work on attention, while visiting his lab. He then visited us at the Institute of Cognitive Science (ISC), in Lyon (France) in 2002, for a ICN-ISC joint meeting. Since then, I live with the impression that I know John as if he were a friend of mine. I therefore have the feeling that I have lost a friend. I miss him already, and I join all his friends and family members for this commemoration.
Jon Driver died suddenly on 28th November 2011. Jon was a wonderful individual; a loving son, husband, father and brother; and an irreplaceable friend and colleague.
This is a place for everyone who knew Jon to share our memories of him and through this to help celebrate his life.
